So it's week 5 of Senior year, and things are finally starting to fall into place:
Internships are getting figured out, I'm narrowing down options for where to live in NYC, and my song cuts for showcase are so very close to being approved - I am slowly checking things off my huge "senior year" list. You just got to take things day by day...
We are also a little more than a week into Otterbein's The Crucible rehearsals! Stepping into the (not buckled) shoes of John Proctor has not only been an honor, but a huge responsibility to bare all the weight that role comes with. Nevertheless, I am having copious amounts of fun doing my homework for the character, and crafting the person I envision that John is.
The Crucible is my last production at Otterbein, and the last one of my whole college career period... I can't even begin to describe how weird that feels.
Trying not dote on that fact, however, I am doing my best to absorb the last bit of training I can get from my professors, and basking in the pleasure and experience of getting to work with my classmates and sharing a stage with them one last time...
Looking to the future, I can only hope there are bigger and brighter stages to come.
